The Panhellenic Association of Processors – Exporters of Table Olives (PEMETE), was founded in 1970 with the legal form of N.P.I.D.

It is a non-profit Association with the aim of serving and protecting the interests of the processing, standardization and marketing (distribution / export) of Greek table olive varieties, having knowledge of its characterization as a “National Product”. At the same time, the Union takes care to represent its members in all authorities, and organizations both in Greece and the European Union and in third countries. The members of PEMETE currently represent more than 95% of the Greek exports of table olives.

The website provides detailed information about the association’s profile, mission as well as their actions and members. Still, the website visitors can learn about information on olives and their varieties, news, journals and upcoming events. Furthermore, a recipes section has been integrated to provide an upgraded users’ service. This also helps to get organic traffic via search engines and get an extra edge on social media.
